What is a “Locked” tag? ( Not Locked/Scammer)
Locked tag can mean a few things.
1. Something is not going right with a paypal payment
2. Attempting to sell Forum Gold versus $$
3. Breaking a lot of rules in the trading grounds
4. Attempting to scam or such activity
What does a Locked tag restrict you from?
1. Removes the ability to send and receive any private messages from anyone that does not have a Trusted or Mediator tag
2. Removes your Guild abilities (viewing, posting, joining, anything that involves guilds)
3. Removes all your abilities that involves Forum Gold (sending, receiving, gold logs, buying raffle tickets)
4. Removes your orb
5. Puts your profile to Default Blue
6. Removes your ability to remove your warn
7. Removes your ability to use the Report Button
Steps and things you should do when you are Locked.
1. Stay active – That means chat around, get to know other sections and subforums that you’ve never explored or chatted in before
2. Try to be useful – Posting in General Help answering questions maturely and accurately will make Moderators see you’re putting an effort on getting unlocked
3. Be patient – Moderators have tons of private messages each day, tons of cases to follow up on, even if you see a Moderator is online and active, but not answering your messages, he probably and most likely is following up with someone else.
If a Moderator asks you to do something do it, they are going through the process of getting you unlocked and if you follow the steps asks it will speed up the process. Not following the instructions given can lead to you having to keep the Locked tag longer due to not following what the Moderators instructed you to do.
I want to attempt to make this a possible sticky or a message fowarded to Locked users when they are starting the "Unlock" process, what do you guys think?
