Up to just 2-4 months ago I had this method of closing my topics if people keep posting in them (because im a fan of overpaying).
After 3 messages, it would close on attempting to posting the Fourth in a row "early bump".

Did it recently get changed to "no close on 4x self post in a row"?

i believe your posts has to be reported and a moderator choose to get your topic close for early bumping

I would suggest throwing a final post and letting it die if people keep posting on a finished topic.

Breaking the early bump rule multiple times to get the topic closed is creating unnecessary work for the staff team.

your topic wont auto closed, the posts needs to be reported which are early bumps, and then the moderators will maybe close it
