My other d2jsp account has seemingly been uncoupled with the gmail account I used on this forum since 2008, and I can no longer log in or receive password recovery emails.

I know this because, for science, I tried using that same gmail to create this account, and clearly it worked. I realize having two accounts breaks the rules of the forum, but again, it was for science and it demonstrates that something wrong has happened. I only want to recover my other account.

I have tried the "account recovery" process twice and been rejected.

I do not believe that the account has been hacked or compromised, as the fg and last login on the profile match my last activity on d2jsp in April 2026.

How could this be, and is there any recourse? I have 1000s of fg stuck in that account that has been in good standing since 2008.

Thanks for any help.

Do you happen to have any purchase of Forum Gold, or through the star upgrade tool? If yes, you can try to remember / look at transactions and add them into the recovery field. Date of the transaction, PayPal or any details are really useful.
Any useful information regarding your old account count towards recovering it. If you purchased any orb and you remember an aproximmate date, or anything at all.

Obviously do not post this here. Simply reach the contact form again, and add as much information as you can.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I have never bought forum gold and have no real money transaction history to draw from.

The one thing I do have email receipts for is every instance of "Password Recovery Validation" dating back to 2008 when I first registered. Do you happen to know if this is something that is tracked and would be useful if I attempt another account recovery?

Any information that you can bring to the Admins regarding the recovery of an account counts; so if you have the original e-mail that was registered in d2jsp, and you also have different instances of password recovery you can attempt to give all the dates / information in the contact form.
Also, remember, any relevant information (even if you think it's a nonsense) - add it in a new attempt of account recovery. Add all the information you have, even if you already tried in another account recovery; collect all the information you have and give it a shot.

Good luck!
