I sold a guy 2 eastern worldstone shards and I got a message like half an hour later telling me I'm a scammer because it's "level 80 shit"

My Paladin is 89, are shards you picked up locked to your level even if you sell them?

He must have misunderstood something.

No the shards themself has nothing to do with the clvl. Only the character that is the game leader when the shard is used.

What I think has happened for him:
1. he created a game with his main character (high level).
2. he left the game to trade.
3. he rejoins the game again and uses the shard.
When he left the game, the second highest level got game leader..
