Thanks Team - the account was from when I was much younger (around 2003). I've just gotten back access to my old email address and tried to reset password. It led me to the account recovery page where I entered my name / details / etc.. But then it wouldn't go through, I got an error message saying account cannot be recovered.

Is that the end of the road, or is it still recoverable with legit proof that it was mine and just lost my email access?

If it is denied, either provide more (accurate) information, or use the account you're on.

Forgot how to do the post thing - but please let me know if this is still recoverable.

It should be since it's asking you to continue with the form to process it manually.

The part about the account cannot be validated is when I get there. I fill in the information and click send, then the second one comes on top "This account cannot be recovered".

It does not allow me to send, when I click send - the second error symbol with the text "This account cannot be recovered" appears.

second edit: maybe it's due to the account being very old?

Not locked / not banned - checked with the user search tool.

Anyway, was just a bit nostalgic to see if I could get it back - been here on and off since 2003/4, so this whole website/community is nostalgic to me.
