Hello,
I would start by checking to ensure you have the latest updates/patches for your whole pc.
Check that all your drivers are up to date and settings are correct.
If you still have issues, check your screen settings and test full-screen, windowed, etc.
Close all the background apps you are not using.
For long gaming sessions reboot the whole game - can be a memory hog.

I would recommend running d2r in window mode if you aren’t already. This is pretty common for crashes during minimizing.

What GPU and OS version are you running?

i appreciate the feedback but i hate playing window mode lol
trying to find a permenent fix for this if possible
been playing like this for a few years with no issue suddenly after the update(newest d2r update) it started acting up
