Is a guide both on battlenet and here(I’m not finding)
I’m assuming this is d2r.

But all you need is multiple accounts(can’t use same account) and process explorer.
Is a resource issue between win 10 and win 11 that you should be aware of.

If you’ve got multiple CD keys/accounts, you can run more than one D2R at the same time; you just have to open a separate game client for each account.

The usual way people do it is:

-install or copy the game folder twice so you have two separate launchers
-open each one and log into a different account/CD key
-then just alt tab between them. One can be your BO barb, the other your main
-as long as you control each character manually (no automation or key mirroring stuff), you’re good

If you want AFK characters in your game for XP, you can bring them in the same way; just leave them parked. Just don’t use bots or macros to move them around.

It’s pretty simple once you have separate accounts: one client per account, alt tab to swap, done. 👋

For d2r make sure to "Allow multiple instances". You can run as many as your system can handle. At least that's what green text says on Blizz forums.
