once i sell an item do i unlist it or does it unlist itself ? any advice is appreciated

There is a brief edit period and you can remove/change the item from the post.

Beyond that you just update your list in the newest post, just remember to respect the bump rule.

It does not unlist. You must go back and edit your post providing you still can. Your ability to edit it for away after a certain period. Not sure the duration. Most people use the strike through. Highlight the item, then choose the. S which is in the row above when you're typing, so your item is crossed out. You won't see the strikeout until you've clicked edit post. What you'll see is are square brackets like this [ ]with an S inside, at the beginning of your text (the item) and square brackets again [ ] with a /S inside at the end of your text.
