What should I do if I see somebody sending me a personal message requesting my listed goods?
What about replies like "pmd" in trading threads? Should those be reported?
What kind of consequences are we talking about? Secret trading is annoying but I wouldn't want a potential customer get banned for a minor slip up.

if someone send you a pm regarding your topic, ask him to to post in your topic his offer and continue all your trade related there, beside of course sensitive information such as game name / password.

Can kindly ask them to post in thread, or just trade them. PM's are not moderated for trades between users. In the case that you are scammed, having evidence in the topic is better than having evidence via pm (PM's can easily be deleted so it's a protection measure). Posting in thread means unmodifiable log/audit trail that the mods can follow in case a scam occurs between parties.

What about replies like "pmd" in trading threads?
Again, it's fine, it's just an audit trail thing. Mods can't help you if you don't help yourself & delete pm. Its treated this way to help you a quick resolution in the case a scam occurs.

Should those be reported?
There's no need to report, again its for SAFETY. Not an actual enforced rule (simply because the team is too small to read every single users PM on a trade forum - not that they all have access to do so).

What kind of consequences are we talking about?
No consequences - just have to be aware that mods CAN read pms but its limited to a few staff. Just trade safe and you can do PM trade all you want tbh (not recommended ofc).

If PM trades truly annoy you, just block the users that refuse to post in thread.
In addition to this note -- VPN users cannot post in threads. As such, they try to circumvent the post restriction put in place in order to scam via PM. Watch out for low post count users that do PM only trades.

Happy trading!
