How to set up a profile counter

This guide will assist you to post your own profile counter, using the site Flag Counter: https://s05.flagcounter.com/index.html
In this guide, we will setup the Mini counter


Step 1:
Go to the Flag counter site and select the 'More choices' option

Step 2:
Select the Mini Counter option

Optional Step:
Change the Background color, Text color, and Boarder color as you see fit in the above screenshot using hex codes.

Step 3:
Click the get your flag counter button

Step 4:
Select Skip

Step 5:
Click the ‘Copy’ button next to the selection for 'Code for forums'
Paste the copy into your profile

Very Important Final Steps:
You will need to remove the URL portion and add a .png to the end of the URL in order for the image to show up properly.

Remove the “URL” portions so it looks like below

Next you will need to add a .png at the end of the URL String, wrapped in an Image Tag.

After you have the code above all setup, you can save this in your profile, and enjoy!


Additional Tips and Tricks:

You may change the Label on Top of Counter to any of the options, provided they follow d2jsp rules, our suggestion is Customers or Visitors

For Top Countries or Flags From styles, please limit it to the below:

• Columns of flags: 7
  
• Max flags to show: 60

If you are using Flag tags:

• Columns of flags: 6
  
• Max flags to show: 42

For Flag Map style, please limit it to the below:

• Medium or smaller map size
