Hello d2jsp,

First of all, english is not my primary language.

I am wondering if there is something i can do against some one trying to impersonate me in game.

Since yesterday, i have received twice a random PM from some one trying to confirm a deal with me via PM on d2jsp while i was not even online or playing.

I assume some one is trying to impersonate me in game directly or somewhere else (maybe discord, etc.).

The guy who sent me a PM never got a respond from me, because i was sleeping (approx. 1:23AM).

So, i am asking if i can do anything to protect me in case some one really get scammed by the impersonator.

If i am online, i will always confirm to the guy that it's not me and that he has to run from the scammer.

This is why many of us states in our signature to always confirm via pm.

Unfortunately not much there that we can do.

Curious to see if site moderator have any take on this.

You dont. If people are dumb enough to send fg before confirming its their problem
