Avatar is 50kb maximum for file size, the pixel dimensions will auto-resize when you set the avatar.
Like he said, I would always PM a M++ for official confirmation, but if any are unavailable you are welcome to shoot me a PM and I'd be happy to verify the size for you!

e/ if it is questionable material within the signature, or something along those lines, a M++ would be the only option.

need more specifics on contents of signatures and what is and isnt allowed but currently ive been ghosted by the first m++ i messaged will try a new one in the coming days

Signatures as well as Avatars and anything posted on your Profile Notes SHOULD follow the D2JSP Rules Here: https://forums.d2jsp.org/info.php?p=9

Meaning:

No flaming, insults, racism, degrading content, bullying, intimidation, harassment, or threats.
No discussion of illicit drugs or narcotics.
No nudity, pornography, or sexually suggestive content.
No gratuitous violence.
No usage of another user's personal pictures or information without express permission
No referral links (monetary or otherwise).
No advertising or linking to any external site that has not otherwise been expressly authorized. This includes mislabeled or deceptive links (including tools to shorten or obfuscate a link).
Encouraging, helping, or facilitating of others to violate site rules or policies.


While this Site has been around for a long time, and most us are past our 30's, a Question you want to ask yourself before posting stuff on your Avatar/Signature/Profile Notes is the following as an example:

Would you be comfortable sharing this content with your Children? or Perhaps your Grandparents? Would you attach this content to your kids backpacks for school? If the answer is NO, then it's probably not allowed here as well.

If you have Questions before Posting said Pictures (you can contact a M++ Members before adding them to your Profile/Avatar/Sig) and you will most likely have an answer, please keep in mind that everyone has lives and that our time can sometimes be limited by different factors.
