Just curious why everybody posts or looks for "end of ladder discounts". If the items aren't junk, it seems like a lot of the good items on non-ladder sell for the same/similar prices. I'm new to D2R (played the hell out of D2 on and off for over 20 years) but doesn't all your ladder stuff carry over to NL still once a new season starts?

So I'm genuinely curious why people try to dump stuff/get stuff for steep discounts just before a new season :banana:

Yes every item on your ladder character will transfer to non-ladder.

I think maybe some people primarily play on ladder so they want to get rid of the items to gather fg for the new ladder.

That worked in lod because ladder was actually something that lasted. Now it lasts like 3 months and the price of items doesnt really change much on non ladder. And with the amount of characters you can have on an account & the fact that items go to a brand new stash when it resets, you have damn near infinite space to hold things until you decide to sell or use them.
