Best you can do is buy a set of 10x 20/17s (20 Life / 17 Mana). If you’re going full ES you can run with the 60 FHR BP, which you can achieve from Spirit and Mana boots that give 10 FHR, unless you want to run 86 FHR but it’s not needed.

Mana is superior stat for energy shield :)

Strong choice of charms here. PR is a necessity too, either with treks and cure or res charms and cure. ( @ op )

make sure you're hitting the FCR breakpoint,
that's the only reason I can think of that you'd be getting hit.

And as already mentioned, Mana is life on es.

Things should die instantly,
try to avoid mana burn mobs.
