Used to just upload everything onto a portable drive but is there anything better out there cloud related? What do you recommend?

Google Photos or OneDrive?

If you're a Samsung/Windows user OneDrive is integrated perfectly on both.
Otherwise I'd just use iCloud if your iPhone

If you want self hosted, privacy, open source check out Immich (AI and all those fancy features)

I generally use Google Drive, there's a way to directly link to images as well by modifying the URL.

Are you interested in self-hosted solutions? With a spare PC you can set up an unraid server and run cloud storage yourself for the cost of electricity and a few hours of set up time.

Just need something to store pictures and video on a cloud. Wasn't sure if some were better/user friendly than others is all.
