Posting youtube videos should be fine as long as they are relevant to the topic.

If you are unsure of a youtube video, you can always PM a Junior Moderator or higher and ask for help.

The typical referral violation situation is when users share links where they get some sort of (monetary) advantage if others use that link (e.g. to buy something). For example, someone getting credits in a browser game if others join or download that game through the link etc. Such stuff can lead to severe actions being taken.

No advertising or linking to any external site that has not otherwise been expressly authorized. This includes mislabeled or deceptive links (including tools to shorten or obfuscate a link). what about this one

This rule primarily (but not solely) covers foreign trading sites and general forms of advertisement (of your business, for example). Never post these. There are a couple of regular sites that can be posted, however. To give you an idea, people sharing their Twitch streams is accepted, provided it's not done excessively and in the right places. Rather harmless stuff like news sites or game info pages are typically tolerated. Just no actual advertising or linking to harmful material.
