why does everyone has it in their notes what is there to win

It’s because if they participate in an auction or make an offer on an item, they probably won’t go back and check. That’s why they want them to pm them if they win.

Sometimes when users bid on a different topcis it becomes difficult to track what they've bidded on and if they won the auction or not,

thus the "PM me if I win" thing in the signature to remind others to PM them if they win a bid.
