So no talking about them is allowed. However you seem to allow many botters to post blatant botted items straight to the trade forums. Many of the users who are using such programs are literally copying and pasting their "item log" from the program to the trade posts. This can be demonstrated with youtube videos that show such programs and their output.

Is this a violation of the botting rules, as they are clearly using copy/pasted data from a bot program into a trade thread?

It's against the rules to share, discuss and offer/ISO binaries, hacks, bots, exploits, or unauthorized third party modifications of any game or program as per clause #12 here:

However no it's not against the rules to list items even if you claim that they're "bot logs", the site rules encourage traders to list everything clearly with quantities when posting trade topics and as long as that rule is obeyed
then it is fine regardless of where they get that body of text from, since it's just text and they're not sharing any methods or anything - if it includes the program names and/or links to acquire them then that is against the rules.

If you suspect that certain topics contain content that violates the forum rules then you're encouraged to report them using the report feature for the staff team to review and determine whether or not it's a violation and if action needs to be taken,
do not post in those topics yourself as it's most likely to cause spam instead of doing any good.

the program name is sort of included here (see last row), isnt it? dont want to point out this specific post, it was just the first one i found by googling. items with that text layout appear from time to time in D2L trade/pricecheck topics, so this isnt an exceptional case
