I'm curious if I can get some advice from fellow JSPers.

I am trying to sell an item to a buyer in the Netherlands. I am from the USA.

I have never shipped an item overseas before and the quotes I am getting from sites like UPS are over $200 USD, which seems high.

The items I want to sell are valued around $1500.

Does anyone have experience shipping overseas, or even more specifically, to the Netherlands?

I am wondering who you ship through, shipping costs, and how long it takes to get delivered.

Any insight is appreciated.

Use NetParcel, super easy and you can put $1500 worth of insurance on it etc.

Try getting a quote from DHL as well

USPS has always been the cheapest in my experience. I've had very poor experience with DHL so I would avoid them personally.

International will always take longer since the package needs to go through customs, etc.

If FedEx is high you can talk to a chat representative and sometimes they can get the price down 50% or more
