I've been stuck for a while, can someone kindly remind me how to request closure of a topic?

If you still can edit your topic. You can simply edit it and say ‘done deal, closed, dd or something’ to indicate that the topic is no longer active. Ortherwise u just let it die (don’t post in it).

Unfortunately I can't edit, I asked because I see that someone still writes every now and then, and I wonder who I can ask to close it

For the moment it is not necessary as I have lost the link to the topic in question

You can just ignore it. And if it’s a trade topic, just pm the people posting that the item is sold/not for sale anymore.

Best you can do is next bump, type something in the lines of "no longer available/sold". That is if you cannot edit it anymore like you mentioned.
Also untrack the topic and you will not recieve any notifications about it anymore.
