Usually after 3 days of posting a thread, your first initial post is able to be edited. For each post, its 30 minutes to edit unless you buy forum gold and validate yourself on the site.
If you do that, then you're able to expand it to longer.
If any questions please let me know :)
Source Considering that and considering the fact I will have to wait 180 days before I get my profile verified (that's because I never purchased FG before) I have a question in relation to maintaining my threads in the trading section. Some may be very quick sales but (as most people know very well) some may include bigger listings with a lot of stuff that takes time to clear out and rushing sales is the worst thing a trader can do. For example in D2R Softcore trading I have listed various items and quantities and after some time I realised that I had to price at least some of them with the current market average as scalpers start reaching me out trying to play smart on me cutting a margin on the price. The end result: After just 3 days I am stuck with a thread I can no longer edit but essentially want to hold onto until I sell my stock...

obviously...
So, what is the best practice to get my threads in the trading section updated? I want to specify current pricings, cross off any sold out items etc.
A. Make a post with the new list within the same thread? (Usually people only check original post.)
B. Ask a moderator to edit it for me by providing the full updated content? (Yes, I do use VSCode and Notepad++ so I can get both text and BBCode as drafts. Obviously this seems like something no staff personnel will ever do unless it's a one time case.)
C. Create a new thread with the same listings? (That seems like a dictionary example of spam.)
D. Wait for the 180 day period to end and get my white beard spread like a German garden gnome, crossing my fingers the scanning will be positive? Incoming rant...(Honestly, I have no idea why this is not a separate service for FG where traders can buy a longer edit time for their threads? We got all kind of cosmetic sparkles but this seems like an essential thing! Actually, why would you limit someone editing his own threads in the first place?! Why 3? Why not 5 days and 7 hours? It's just bollocks!

)
Sorry, didn't mean to make it sound like a rant but I kind of already sense that I will have to cope and take the D. (no pun intended) as other options seem terrible. Let me know how you deal with those big listings of yours when you gotta wait and things get changed along the way - prices, certain things get out of stock etc.
Cheers!
