People can also be approached in a personal and friendly manner, sometimes they really do not know that they have broken a rule, experience shows that people follow the rules better when they feel seen and heard. Otherwise it will become a citizen-government agency, that's not how d2jsp started...

90% of warnings given on this site since its inception (outside of extreme cases), have direct links attached to them. specifically linking to the posts that violated the site rules

and that's not even counting all the mod messages with users discussing warns/various issues. which seem to be handled by a case-by-case basis (privately with the user)

Thank you i didn't know this. Great! I only experienced temporary suspensions without understanding why. For sure there maybe a valid reason.

if you get a temp suspension without a private message, that means you hit a word filter (automated). the other type comes with a message that gives you a direct link to the violated post
