hello,

im trying to post a pride topic to celebrate pride month, posted in general chat as it seems like something to generally chat about

i was able to do this last year, and it was fine. closed once, had to remake once

my most recent thread (part 3) was closed due to being posted in the wrong subforum. it also listed spam, but the thread only had 5 responses in it (is there a spam threshhold for threads)?

if that is the case, which would be the appropriate subforum? could a moderator move it to the appropriate subforum?


please advise, just looking for clarity. you can see all threads in my recent topics.

just trying to follow the rules. ty

I'd suggest PMing a Junior mod that runs that section of the forums for clarification, found here - https://forums.d2jsp.org/staff.php?g=20

I once posted a “post your favorite biblical quote” in the Christianity forum and my post got closed due to “spam” only because a trusted tagged user was offended by the quotes I chose from THEIR holy book, lol.

ive been discussing this already with a junior moderator. spam and risk of closure was discussed, but no mention of the wrong subforum/gc being the wrong spot

multiple mods oversee general chat. do i pm them all? this thread is an attempt to try and get a consensus. id rather not create the thread 30 times and get suspended for violating a rule that hasnt been explained to me yet

That's understandable. Maybe ask the mod you're already talking with if they knew who made the decision, or PM the ones you haven't yet with the same message asking if they were the one that closed. Or just hope you question gets answered here.
