I used to be able to paste a picture in, has this changed?

Pick an image hosting website -> Upload your image -> copy the image link -> put the image link in the image tag

I use https://imgur.com/.

The link needs to end with .jpg, .png etc or else it won't recognize it as a picture.

The link you used (https://imgur.com/a/1GQ5Npt) won't work as it's an album(Noted by the /a/). You'll need to right click the image and click "Copy Image Address" then add the IMG tags. The correct link for your picture is this: https://i.imgur.com/yYHYApo.png

You need the direct link to upload the screenshot.
Right click on the upload and copy "Copy Image Link"

Also if you purchased fg recently you should have this icon that allows you to upload images directly:
