Hello, I have an ASUS TUF gaming laptop and unfortunately my cable broke. Now I'm looking for a new cable. My old one had 19.5 volts and its called an AC/DC adapter. However, on websites I usually only find 19V or 20V for sale and they usually only called AC adapters and not AC/DC. I don't know anything about it and therefore wanted to ask a PC specialist from JSP. kind regards

There are 19.5 v just by googling for them 19 should work fine but it’s always good to get the same spec to not worsen your battery life in the long run

Get the exact model of the laptop and it should be easier to find a replacement cable that way. The model & serial is usually on the bottom of it.

You should consult the official Asus website in order to have access to all the parts available to order from the manufacturer Asus.

You will need to follow their instructions and search the type and serial number or just the model of your computer in order to find the corresponding charger.

For example, this afternoon, I found an MSI spare part on the official MSI website by searching for the part that corresponds to the model and I found it, so it should be the same for a charger from another brand on their official website.

I've gotten ahold of many old laptops for various repairs and I got myself a couple universal, variable voltage adapters. Don't worry about AC/DC they're all providing a direct current to your Laptop no matter what they say. The charger is converting AC to DC.

The one I use currently you can find on amazon called "90W Universal AC Adapter Laptop Charger"

You can find it or a similar one, and for this one the description explains that it supports 15-20V, and it comes with many different proprietary adapters including ASUS ones. You don't need to buy OEM if you want to save some money.
