weird shits going on brothers
so i start a program, lets say some normal program i use all the time (total commander, gom player, some others), and lets say i wanna close it
BUT IT DOESNT WANT TO BE CLOSED!
it stays open in task manager, so lets say i watch 5 different por movies, when i open task manager i see 5 copies of gom player open even though i closed all of them normally. this doesnt happen with vlc player for example so i can live with that, but the problem is that it happens with programs i cant do without, such as total commander

PLS HELP
regars and tymen

edit: win 7 masterrace here btw

Too many unknowns to pinpoint an exact solution at this time.

Best advice to start with.

Hit start. Then run. Type MSCONFIG. Click startup and untick (boxes that are not selected will not auto start) your non essential startup programs. Reboot pc. This will essentially give you a clean boot that you can then begin trial and error testing of what programs are causing your issues. More than likely there is a conflict between one or more programs which is holding the program open in the background.

This can be a long process of trial and error so be mindful when you open and close programs to see what one's are conflicting.

So in theory you could do this; open multiple gom players close them check if they are hanging in task manager. If not do another program ie total commander plus gom. Until you notice the issue.

Sorry it's not more helpful advice maybe someone else has some ideas for you.

thanks brother! also nice avatar ^_^
umm..i tried to an extend and didnt manage to find the cause...i mean its a shitload of programs

anyways, after a lot of work and considering the fact that the problem is way too small compared to the amount of work i have to do to fix it, i have decided to just give up
