Q: Can I add sounds to the Push Notifications?
A: No, this is not possible. For sound alerts you can use the Instant Messenger.

Q: I pressed "Enable Push Notifications", but it's stuck on "Registering..." and is not responding.
A: If it has not been processed after 1 minute, please clear your browser's cache, refresh the page, and try again. Make sure you do not have any browser addons/extensions blocking this feature installed.

Q: Which browsers support this feature?
A: Chrome (PC or Android) v42+, Firefox (PC) v44+, Chrome (MacOS) v59+ and iOS 16.4+.

Q: It says "Pending" next to my device name. What does that mean?
A: It means you have pending Push Notifications. Open said browser or device and you will receive the pending Push Notifications. Pressing the "Pending" button will force the pending Push Notifications to be sent.

Q: I use Chrome and Push Notifications keep automatically disabling.
A: Disable "Hardware Acceleration" from your Chrome browser's advanced settings menu. Make sure your Chrome version is v42 or higher.

Q: I use Firefox and after I press the "Enable Push Notifications" button it's stuck on "Checking Status".
A: Check if you have "Keep until I close Firefox" enabled in your Firefox browser's settings menu. If it's enabled, add https://forums.d2jsp.org to the exceptions list. Make sure your Firefox version is v44 or higher.
