User blogs remain viewable. There is no way to remove them for free. If you would like them deleted you will have to pay 50fg each as stated

Any future plans to make an incentive to remove them?
Since it seems like this is a step towards removing them for good (hiding and having to use a direct on profile link to even see them)?
Or just wait till they're just gone, seems like that's the play instead of paying 50fg per removal to tidy things up.

I personally would wait and see (if you do not want to waste fg). As of now, it's read only but I don't know what the future holds if they'll be gone for good.
