I was not sure where to post my question, so i am trying here!

I wanted to know if it was allowed to trade fg's vs a top up on genshin impact. There is a website that exists https://www.codashop.com/en-us/genshin-impact That gives you the opportunity to send crystals to people while paying real money. This requires no information other than your player UID which is public information. The persone enters your UID and your server and then proceeds to send the crystals to you. Its a very easy process that streamers uses often for giveaways.

Am i allowed to pay for this? And if so, where do i post the thread about it? I was thinking about mobile game or RPG ?

As this has to do with gifting items with real money, I believe it needs to be reviewed by before it would be allowed.

Currently this is not allowed to my knowledge.

Isn't it the same as gifting a game on steam with real money? Or buying steam credits with real money?

Cause crystals are not items, they are in game currency, they are used to puill characters in the game, so they really are just like steam credits that i would use to buy myself a skin in dead by daylight or any other game on steam.

Each platform likely needs to be "vetted" to ensure the safety of the trade for both parties.
If you look at some of the illegal trade platforms in the link provided above, you will see some of the reasons they are not allowed.
This is to protect the buyer and seller.

the only option here would be to reach out to and ask politely if it is possible to have the platform looked into

Oh i see, well the platform i sent is used only to gift. The second the money is sent, the person receives the crystals and can use them in game, there is no such thing as the sender can receive the gift or anything of the sort.

Unfortunately we are not going to allowed trades via codashop at this time
After some testing, the site does not have proper accountability for transactions made that would allow our users to trade safely

If this changes in the future it can be revisited
