Before you do what I will say those steps to make, as other devices can connect to that WIFI network.
And your computer is actually a Laptop right ? And i would go more and say its a Lenovo or Asus ? If yes on both questions then your answer lies in the WIFI driver, as they have a lot of problems on the Intel Wifi Module V (can't remember know exactly) but they were mostly installed in Lenovo, Asus and some HP`s laptops.
To fix this issue will be hard to resolve as you will have to install on your computer, last 5 or 6 drivers that were released for the wifi card and see witch one is good and never update that anymore or at windows updates you will have to manually deselect so you dont update it.
If you have an WIFI connection with NO INTERNET on PC :
STEP 1. PC side
CMD - you need to use this 2 commands
Type in CMD: "ipconfig" - it will show you our current lan / internet connection settings (depends of the ISP)
If you see IP like :
Good example : And if you see this your problems are on the router
IPv4 Address: 192.168.0.104
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1
BAD example : And if you see this your problems might be from PC rather then go see what's the problems with the router.
IPv4 Address: 168.102.1.24.103
Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0
Type in CMD: "ipconfig/renew" - This if says success it's ok, but if gives any error we will need to see that error.
(this command doesn't work if you have static IP's, entered manually, you will have to set first your network on AUTO then go back and use the command.)
STEP 2. Router side
- Rebuild or Create a new WIFI network .. but at fist use the 2,4 GHz network then test the 5 Ghz network ... as you might have a compatibility issue with your WIFI DRIVER and the last update on your router.
