Anyone been able to get notifications to work on iPhone?

I followed the directions and even turned on the setting for “push ap” but I still get:

Error: TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating 'window.Notification.requestPermission')

I have iOS 16.6.1

You can consider updating your iOS and check your appstore whether your browser has an update available, too. I'm running iOS 17.1.1 on my device and it works. Having said that I need to re-activate the notifications by opening the app once in a while. That could also be due to the fact that I don't use the app for browsing though, I only have it to receive notifications and then prefer to browse jsp in my regular browser.

Hmmm see that’s what I’m trying to get to. It makes sense it only works for a little while. But you are using Safari as your browser? And then maybe like chrome to use jsp?

I finally got it to give me a different error. Now it says
“Your browser denied permission for notifications. Please allow d2jsp.org to notify you in your browser settings.”

How did you give d2jsp permission? I’m sure I have to receive a pop up. But for some reason I can’t even get that far to where I get the pop up requesting permission. I’m going to try and update the software real quick to see if it does anything. It just seems my settings are off. Or I have some privacy setting that won’t let me get the pop up to give permission.

It seems like you are in your browser trying to Enable Push Notificaitons with that error.
Are you using the d2jsp shortcut that was installed on your home screen for d2jsp if you followed the instructions?

You were right. I was not installing the home app correctly. Thanks for the help! I finally got it to work!
