hi i was helping someone sign up for jsp what do they actually have to do before they can post and trade? im alittle confused about this part

as far as i'm aware, there are no early restrictions to this.
it has been nearly 20 years since i've registered though.

They have to read the rules page for x amount of time to be able to use the account afaik.

They cannot post in poker section I think is the only locked sub-forum besides DF.

I think you can post as soon as you register, images and other functions come soon after like 25 or 50 posts or something

nah it wouldnt let him post or add a reply right away

I believe there is a delay after making an account to give the user an opportunity to review the rules, mediator services, etc.
Also could be that your friend hasn't verified the email used to create the account yet?
