It has been years since I have posted a pic and cannot get it to work, I have looked up old posts that explain how to do it, post imgur link between the [*IMG]your image[*IMG] but it does not work.

Use the direct image URL for this.
Right click on the image you uploaded and copy the URL.
The direct image URL always ends in a file extension, such as .jpg, .png, .gif.
Make sure not to use the album link for this.
