Wondering if anyone knows any home monitoring softwares using a PC with webcam+microphone that can be monitored remotely?

Currently I am able to monitor sounds remotely, but ideally I'd like to be able to monitor video+audio. My PC is setup where a simple webcam would be able to see anyone who enters the home.

The big thing I'm looking for is to be able to monitor it remotely without having to remote desktop into my PC to view.

I read a few things regarding this and zoom, but I was wondering if anyone else has done something similar and could share some insight.

Thanks for your time :)

Something like BlueIris maybe?

But if its your normal PC it likely draws so much power you could get a dedicated camera from eg. ring that will do that even better, and it will pay for itself within a month

I looked into the ring thing, seems to only be for doorbells. I'm looking for more of an in home monitoring type deal without shelling out thousands for a full security system

The blueiris sounds a lot like what I am looking for, do you know anymore about it? Any advice to it?

Well full license to blueiris is more expensive than ring cam :P there are free alternatives but i only know them for linux, like Frigate, MotionEyeOS and similar. Actually you can install those on something like raspberry pi, and connect usb webcam to it. So thats another option

There is ring home cam, eg

Code
amazon.com/Ring-Battery-security-privacy-controls/dp/B0CD9LN2VK

but also competition from like xiaomi, eufy etc. You just put it whenever in your house, connect to wifi and voila, you can watch it on your phone from anywhere in the world

subscription is optional too, you can live view feed for free. And then there is cheaper plan if you only have 1 camera thats $4/mo not 20 :)
