In order to embed any kind of images in a post or your signature you will need to use the direct image URL, which ends in a file extension such as .jpg, .png, or .gif.
You can get it by right clicking the image itself and choosing 'copy image location', by opening the image in a new tab and copying the url at the top of your browser, or by copying the 'BBCodes (Forum)' share links the uploading site provides.

This reminds me that I can actually make signatures now
