create post on imgur, click the 3 dots in the top right, select get share links, and choose bbcode. Paste that into your post

There are several ways to upload images.

Lastly, if you are posting from your phone, I prefer to use https://imgbb.com/ for mobile uploading. That website is self-explanatory and easy to use.

You need a minimum of 15 posts to be able to embed images in posts.
They way you already tried it in a previous post is correct, the images will show up once you have 15 posts.
