i have 15 softcore characters

i wanna delete one for hardcore is this of the ammount possible or if i delete i have 1 char lost

If you delete 1 softcore character, you can create 1 more hardcore character.

No. He has 15 softcore characters because he is grandfathered in before an update that changed it to eight characters per core. If he deletes one of his 15 softcore characters he’ll just be out a character.

@OP: Even though you have 15 softcore characters you can still make up to eight hardcore characters. You don’t need to delete anything.

The total amount of characters is limited to 8 per core and 16 in total (as stated by Leevee) in the current game version.
If you have 15 softcore characters from before the changes this will only allow you to create one hardcore character without deleting any character.
Creating 8 hardcore characters would require you to delete more softcore characters, which would be permanent in this case because you won't be able to create additional softcore characters again.
