I’m looking to have a dialogue with a moderator about a whale participating in nefarious activities.

Posts illegal trade topics for items he does not have and because of this he can’t verify the trade himself and refunds my FG. I log off for the night and he sends a false S/A claiming I said I didn’t receive the item and that I manipulated him.

All of this is plain as day with the proof I provided that because of the snowball effect of posting illegal trades I wind up with my name dragged through the mud due to outright LYING in a S/A topic.

My question to a moderator is simply this, are people worth over 2 million forum gold held to the same standards as us regular folks?

Who holds behavior like this accountable and what steps can I take to make sure that this person recieves a warning?

Hi,

You have already a topic in S/A in which you appear as the accused. Follow the helper's instructions. And everything will become clear in that topic. The moderator will reply to the topic when all the evidence is presented.

I understand, and I expect the topic to be closed immediately once the moderator reviews the fact that no scam occurred.

My question remains about an appropriate space for having a discussion about accountability beyond a topic that will be closed in which I’m falsely accused as scamming because of an illegal trade.

My followup question now as a result of this I’m receiving harassing, derogatory, and offense private messages from people who I can only presume are friends of @Rance. Apart from blocking these users are there actions taken against harassment in private messages? This user in question already has 60% warn.

My concern at the end of the day is about accountability for an illegal trade and false S/A with direct lies told. Imagine if every time someone did a trade they simply refunded the FG and posted in S/A….

As it was stated above, if someone harasses you via PM, the best option is to simply block them. If you have similar instances occur on the forums, report the user’s post(s) and move on. If the behavior continues or escalates, you can always gather all of the evidence and PM it to a staff member, overseeing the related forum: https://forums.d2jsp.org/staff.php?g=11

All of the S/A related matters will be handled within that forum and there’s no need to discuss it here.
