I understand blocking is a thing in PM's
As someone who has suffered from severe depression in the past this is very dis-heartening.
I cannot pre-meditate a block/message so they are able to send one and load it.
How can I prevent things like this from happening in the future?

You can not prevent a user to send hurtful PMs when they are not blocked already.
If you receive a PM like this block the user and try not to further interact with them in any area of the forums.

It is not okay to threat or insult users via PM as all forum rules also apply to PMs.
Due to the nature of them being private they can not be moderated, thats what the blocking feature is for.

If a user tries to bypass the block by contacting you via forum posts you can report all posts that violate the forum rules, these reports will be reviewed by the staff members.

I don't think this is correct.
Not to start an argument, but if that was the case there wouldn't be any question here this is against the site rules and action would be taken against comment like these.

Stop being in love with drama, you already know you can block and move on so do it already.

Block the user as suggested above, There’s always going to be “internet trolls” cannot prevent that. But you can prevent them from contacting you via PM. If you feel you need to report continuous harassment gather your evidence (PMs, Posts, ect) and forward them to a moderator +.

Yes. Any posts towards you after you’ve blocked them, random gold logs with comments, anything that has to do with him directing anything towards you that is deemed harassment is fine.

I think this stemmed from me poiting out a false accusation thread and asking about how it was handled.
I guess I've never seen someone go from internet forum posting to threatening/suicide comments over something so quickly.
Maybe it was my fault in the end. ::shrug::
