Hi,

I've been trying to embed photos mostly using imgur, I've tried a couple other sites as well with no luck.

I copy and paste the imgur link using the photo icon above the message area on posts on here and when I do preview post or make the post it always just shows text/links. Any advice or something I need to enable, I saw awhile back someone say you need to have more then 50 posts on your account and i do have 50+?

You used the Imgur album link in your last post, make sure to use the direct image link
The direct image link always ends in a file extension such as .jpg, .png or .gif



Rightclick the image to copy the image url:

Hmm okay I'm on android mobile , I've tried tap and holding opposed to right click and I only get copy image, view image and save image as any options. There is a share option but nothing that provides a usable link. I've tried on imgur app and browser, ill keep looking through some different options and try desktop view on mobile browser and see if I can get something to work.

Thank you for your response as well, hopefully it's just something I'm overlooking!

In the app you can click on the image and then click on the 'share arrow' and choose 'copy url'.

Have you clicked on the photo itself?
It seems like you are still on the album view maybe, try to click to individual photo and copy the url

Alternatively you can also try to use imgBB instead of Imgur on mobile, some people find that easier to use.
After uploading you can copy the BB code of the image there.

Oh my I feel silly now you have to tap twice on photos in imgur, once to just open what must be a full screen preview and then again for the photo. I should have it now and will test below
