I used jsp back in 2010 for d2, forgot account and back for d4.

I just did "register new account" and somehow this account was created and linked to my email. Which makes no sense at all.

Welcome to JSP, looks like this account was created in 2018 rather than just now, this could either be of two things.

1) you have saved information that allows prompts to be filled out, it somehow used SSO to log you into an account you created in 2018

2) this could be a bug/glitch, I would use this contact form for the admins to look into the account creation that resulted in a 2018 join date - https://forums.d2jsp.org/contact.php

cant be 1. work built this PC for me a few months ago. Only non work related things i have done on this PC is lichess

The only way to recover your account is via the recovery link I gave you below. You must provide many account information. Only the account owner can know. List all the e-mails that come to you mind that you have ever used, enter the orb's you have, amount of donation, paypal account, etc.
Provide any information regarding your account that you consider relevant and may assist you in recovering it.

This is not an automatic system. Each such notification is manually checked by the administrator.

There is no other way to recover your account. Only forum administrators have access to information such as payments or e-mail address for which the account was registered.

I already did that. You cannot help me with my problem. I need to know why there is a 2018 jsp account tied to this email address when i tried making an account earlier today. I have no email records of any d2jsp account creation dating back in 2018.
