Just bidded on an auction. about 5 mins after i bidded the "Start" value the seller changed the auction length from 10mins to 20mins.

They got no more bids after 10 mins so locked the post and blocked me.

This has never happened to me on JSP before and been using it a while.

Don't really mind about not getting the cheap annis but just don't like the dishonest practice. This always felt like an honest place and don't what its reputation tarnished.

Is there rule bending going on here or is this above-board auction style trading that I wasn't aware of?

Sorry to hear about the poor trading experience, unfortunately there is no rules forcing sellers to abide by their listing price or auction rules. It’s bad manner for sure but the seller can retract his item/auction at anytime.

But no worries, there are more honest traders than not here so I’m glad to hear this was your first and only experience.
