This has to do with the Real Life Trades rules. I've never used that feature in all my 14 years here.
So I read all the rules but I'm still deeply confused as to what is restricted/banned and okay to trade...

I just need to know about Nintendo eShop gift cards. The ones that have the code on the cards that range from $20/$50/$100.
I've looked around and couldn't exactly find my answer. I don't see other people selling them. Technically they're not CD-Keys?

I usually buy them at random for my Nintendo Switch. I thought maybe there was a way to give a mediator the code and legally trade it.

That's all. I was just wondering. I apologize for asking. Please close this thread as you see fit, moderators. I appreciate the help.

Sorry but seems to not be legal here

- Non-digital Gift Cards (ex; purchased via Best Buy, Gamestop, Walgreens, etc.)
- Nintendo Store (no option to digitally gift, yet)

For the mods, you can actually buy digital nintendo gift cards now btw. I can't find it on official site but other sites (reputable stores, resellers) sell them just fine Maybe time to look into change?

The issue is that the code can be read before its traded away, so if it's not fully and immediately used, the seller can take the change back. I don't see this rule changing (and this is why they're not allowed afaik)

If you want to be sure if you can legally sell or buy something on the rl trade section. Best to ask Kevin or Sullivan
