Hi there! I had a question or two regarding Live Streams (found up top on PC version)

I want to add my stream onto there for D2: resurrected, specifically where I give the loot that is found in games to the playerbase tuning in.

My questions are following:

1 - Am I allowed to "Advertise" it (And by that, I mean post a thread in general chat and in xbox console ONCE THE FG IS PAID SO I CAN DIRECT THAT WAY? An example post would be: "Hey, I'm streaming now! You can click "Live Streams" up on the top of the forum and check me out!" kinda thing)

2 - Is something like that allowed (By that, I mean original idea where viewers tuned in can claim loot. Users would be able to claim on xbox console and PC) at all via forum rules?

Just to clarify, are you planning on streaming on jsp or externally? If JSP, you can place your stream in your signature as a passive form of advertising. Do note external streams are considered third party links and may not be allowed unless approved by a senior mod.

Making topics in General Chat to advertise your stream isn’t really the normal workflow, I recommend creating a Personal Blog with updates on when your stream will be online and what you plan to do. You can then link your stream and blog in your signature.

I plan on paying the FG to stream up on JSP (I think thats how it works? It asks for my twitch handle so I would put it in there of course and simply say "Hey go check it out on the live stream". I'm not sure, it would be my first try!)

As someone who frequents General Chat, just giving a fair warning that posting an advert there for your stream might not be the best idea. In all honesty, no one will care and will probably just troll spam your topic. Just to let you know. But if you decide to post there, best of luck.
