Whats the point of having a paid (red) topic and cannot be able to modify it?

Ill put it into perspective: Im trying to buy albion silver where the subreddit is relatively dead and lately there is a lot of posts looking for gold and few offers, i check a paid topic and it says ratio is 1:70, logic... guy buys 1:50 or w/e sells 1:70 and has tons of silver, that part is ok, i check recent trades and it seems to be it.. try to buy at 60:1 and get no responses so i decide to pay 70:1 and pm that guy, he answers me fast, all good but says ratio is now 1:80... i want to buy a ton and feel scammed and we argue, i tell him to atleast modify his post because he is actually blocking prices with his massive silver post offering a ratio that is not true and all he can do to change it is reply on 2nd page which is deceiving... since at first glance u think gold in albion is 1:70 "a bit more expensive but tons of silver and instant reply" which is nice but seems to be blocking the prices in a subreddit that doesnt have so much attention.

Any insight and criticism will be welcome. Beforehand thanks.

They must list exactly what they are selling, if not, its an illegal trade and should be reported.

By the way, don't feel inclined to purchase at the sellers rate just because. If you feel like you are being swindled, you have the freedom to find a better deal.

Bro it’s 5fg and it’s used to attract attention. Idk why you think you’re buying some special right to modify your topic in some way when it literally is just a basic feature.

This is the post, are you 100% sure this is reportable, and if yes, where i should report, the guy is not scamming anyone just got an outdated post that feels deceiving and imho its blocking somewhat the flow of offer and demand of albion silver.

Didnt know it was so ridiculously cheap, I assumed it was not since the guy argument to not changing it was that after 2 days he stops to be able to change it. so basically he only has to do copy pasta with new ratios and pay 5fg...

i'm not sure. you guys both have to agree on a price. if it's not agreed to, don't trade with him lol. are you overthinking this perhaps?

The buyer isn't obligated to sell you anything, he can change how he advertisers his property and the price.

Greetings elesede,

The matter you're mentioning here is a common occurence and is irrelevant to whether the topic is a paid topic or a regular topic, it's pretty common that the prices the seller had in mind has changed but they forget to update their topics or his their timer for the topic has expired.

As with any form of trading even in real life, prices and the value of things fluctuate all the time and the seller has all rights to list his goods for however much he wants and even retract the trade at any given time,

likewise as a buyer you also have every right to negotiate prices with the seller or not trade with the person at all.

Happy trading!
