Hello guys , I have 3 questions

what armor base do I make my enigma ?

what weapon base do I make infinity for my merc ?

when do I have play phoenix and when do I play spirit ?

1. Lowest str req, MP etc

2. Again, lowest possible so probably CA

Best enigma type is whatever style you like and minimizes how much strength you need to use off your gear. There are run walk penalties for each type of armor so the best would be mage plate or dusk shroud.

For merc infinity, thresher or cryptic axe is just fine. Zons kill everything anyways.

Use phoenix in areas with no souls. Spirit is best in slot if you teleport a lot, as long as you use griffons and one fcr ring for the 68bp.

I love the look of Gothic Plate on a zon and sin personally. But with everyone else low strength req.

Mage plate or Dusk Shroud if you have the right charms to help you get to no points or minimal added

Ringmail 36 str req, breastplate 30 str req, both can be shopped at vendor in act 2 normal with 15ed/3os.

Ringmail looks good but is medium armor class with frw penalty
Breastplate looks weirder but is light armor and even less str req

With no str bug I’ve been liking these two much more you can get away with 0 str added on some builds I have a full Vita barb using one

For Enigma Base:
Under 100str requirement:
Mage Plate, Dusk Shroud, Wyrmhide, Scarab Husk

Above 100str requirement:
Archon Plate, Wire Fleece

For Infinity Base:
ETH Thresher, ETH Giant Thresher

For Shield:
You dont need Phoenix. Drink Mana Pots or get MaeK.
Keep Spirit at all time or a Jmod with 4x Light Facet.

Defense is actually useful. I’d still wear atleast a mage plate.
Dusk is easy to hit the strength for but the durability on dusk shrouds are low
