Welcome =]
Yesterday, i attempted to reply something in the D2R general discussion section.
When i hit the post button, i instantly got a 6 hours suspension for prohibited content, and the post was cancelled.
The thing is, the content of that post didn't break any of the site rules in any way, and i mean it.
So i thought, maybe the suspension triggered from a different post i made earlier, and that it was just an unfortunate timing, though my post history is pretty clean.
Anyway, i'm a curious guy, so i waited the end of the suspension patiently, tried to post the same data on the same topic again, and the exact same thing happened.
Because it happened instantly on both occurrences, the suspension was obviously triggered by some automated site code, that somehow flags the content as prohibited.
That's a problem of course, because that's clearly a false positive.
So, by accident, i believe i found a flaw in the post content verification algorithm.
More users will suffer from that flaw in the future, so i guess that's an opportunity to identify what's wrong and fix it.
Unfortunately, i can't risk posting the concerned content here, since it will be flagged again.
However, i carefully saved the problematic data in a text file, and i'm ready to communicate privately with any admin interested in looking into it, so that more accounts don't get suspended for illegitimate reasons in the future.
Cheers.
