Just wondering if it’s a good idea to put 5/-5 lightning jewel in a shako in hardcore

It’s not a bad idea, I recommend looking into a 2/20 with mods 2 or 3os circ if you want to be efficient with damage.

If you are asking for resale value, just sell the 5/5 as is.

Absolutely not. Let the people who use facets in hardcore use them and die than use it yourself and die.

Would be hard to sell after, but if only self use, why not, -5 is always +5 dmg to immunities

In hc i cant imagine -5/5 helps more than things like a pruby, um, rare jewel, magic jewel, other rune.

But to each their own. I’d imagine Ber would be the best since you probably have a SS on in HC and it would put you at max DR with SS on. Would also be something of resale value a bit, depends really but can never go wrong with DR.

could help a bit with clearspeed on sundered enemies, but pricewise id go with a -5/+3-4 instead if its put into a shako
