i´m playing d2 hc and always handle d2jsp and "ingame" as different things, short exp:
d2jsp and trades + services like boosts etc i act according to rules and try to not bm and stuff like that

ingame however if u step in my tp (right in front of town) i prolly hostile and kill straight away


my question now

if there is a bounty posted on someone for example 1k fg if u kill char xy with battletag z and u know its user A on jsp
are you allowed to use jsp forums to get/offer a service which is valued lower (like a rush for 50 fg) to get him into your game to achieve your "goal" worth more (1k > 50) without conflicting jsp rules?

if that lvl 98 user would have been looking for someone (via jsp) for xp shrine getting
and someone would offer that service to him but instead made a tp in front of town and killed him - would that have been punishable/against jsp rules?

Bounties also known as "Ear trades" are a permitted trade here on the site,

however offering or requesting a fake service to maliciously "bait" other users in getting killed in hardcore with a fake or dirty TP could possibly be considered scam and harassment.

ok thats kinda what i thought, but if by chance the target is looking for a service and you grab the chance its probably (not talking morally here ofc) ok to backstabb that person

luring people in your game due to advertising a fake service sounds like a scam to me

got a point there, unless i have at least 1 other person i finish the service for as offered

There're numerous factors to how it would be determined and it all depends on the scenario,

For instance if you created a "fake" rush topic to and a "bountied" user paid for a rush but when he joins the game he gets killed instead - that would be a scam.

Regardless, bottom line is we don't encourage toxic behaviour among users here in the community and any acts of harassment or scam will be dealt with accordingly.



You would've still scammed the user if that's the case, because the user paid for a rush and not to get killed.
