As for your trader status, your account will not be "locked" or "scammer" tagged unless you specifically do something to warrant that - you won't get any penalty for long periods of "afk"

No, I actually recovered my account after 15 years of no activity once Diablo 2 resurrected came out. I had like 26 forum posts and had forgotten email/password.
